When did the Fed Reserve come into existence? See the interactive map to find out

The US Federal Reserve is celebrating 100 years of existence this year, while the Reserve Bank of India is celebrating its 80th.

The European Central Bank, meanwhile, is celebrating its 16th year, making it one of the youngest major central banks around.

Here’s a map showing when some key central banks around the world were founded. Click on the map below and you’ll be taken to a link that has an interactive map. Click on the central banks mentioned on the map and you might even discover the world’s oldest central bank.
